stress.. and handling it

I feel like in my family we are judged by how well we manage stress. . If we buckle, let it get to us, freak out, get angry, we’re weak. Broken. Less than.

The more we “tough it out”,  shove it away, shove it down, the “better” we are. The less angry we get about stress (life in general), it makes us a “better person”.

It’s only noon and its been one of those days. One thing after another after another after another. Question is, do I keep going until I explode with rage and anger?  Or just maybe I should slow down, take it easy and asses the situation? I know what I want to do, but what I *actually* do is another story. Change is difficult.
